In Options/Settings in the desktop application, you can configure:
- The language used.
- Whether you want the application to remain on top in order to make it easier to drag and drop documents.
- Whether you want the home screen of the desktop application to display the protections in “Tiles” (boxes which will allow you to drag documents directly to them) or “List” (a list of the policies with their name and description) mode.
- Excluded file types for the folder protection: When you protect a folder, there are file extensions that can be excluded from the protection.
In Options/Contacts, you can manage your contacts. When you are creating protections or configuring permissions the user names are auto-completed from contacts. Moreover, everytime you protect a document for other person, that contact will be automatically included in the contacts list.
